The poem I choose was by Grace Cavalieri, the name is "Athletes" this poem is about me cause. It tells how we leave this world not living our dreams, and how we should follow them and dont be afraid. It also says to me that we dont have enough time so we should make the best of it while we are here, so that goes back to following our dreams. So if you get a chance read the poem I picked, it really motvates you to go out and follow your dreams and heart.

The poem that also caught my eye was "Dates" also by Grace Cavalieri. I really like her poems because she knows how to talk to regular people, this poem was about a childs life with a mother and how they struggle. But still they have love for each other. It relates to me because even though me and my mother may argue we still love each other.
